The floor is four separate layers, each sourced on its own, then stacked and sewn into one piece. Its edge rises on all four sides, stiffened around the wall and never across the middle. Finished, it comes to a little over a third of an inch.

The vent runs the length of each side panel, set behind a fold of canvas six tenths of an inch deep. Nothing of it shows from the side. The fold took longer to settle than the vent did.

The house mark is pressed into the leather in its own tone. No foil. No contrast. It reads only when light crosses it at an angle.
